Beth de Sousa is a GP who lives and works in Devon. She qualified as a doctor from Southampton University in 1991. Her passions include her love of sport and the outdoors and her belief that a healthy lifestyle should be accessible to everyone.
Things that she is good at include walking up steep hills, never sitting still and talking.
Things that she is bad at include walking down steep hills, cleaning her car and getting to things on time.
Things that she is most pleased about in her life include having the best family in the world, having the privilege of looking after her patients, discovering whippets and ginger beer, living in Devon and finishing this book.
Her weirdest experience is being kissed by a giraffe.
Her most magic experience is eating a tin of rice pudding on the top of Mount Kenya.
Things she would like to do before she dies include walking the Annapurna Trail and to Machu Picchu, learning to speak Spanish, learning to stand up on a surf board, going to Borneo to work with Orangu-tans, learning to play “Private Investigations” on the guitar and learning to dance the tango.
